Abla Abrial

Abla brings 25 years of experience in finance, including more than 15 in the healthcare industry combining international experience with a broad understanding of operational and corporate finance.

Abla joined Ipsen in 2019 as Group Controller, becoming Head of Finance for International in 2022 and expanding her scope further to Global Alliances in 2024.

In her current role at Ipsen, Abla provides strategic guidance on growth initiatives and resource allocation for Ipsen’s North America business with primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related commercial activities. She also has direct responsibility for accounting, finance, tax, treasury, financial compliance and all other fiduciary and shared services responsibilities for the U.S. and Canadian legal entities.

She started her career at Arthur Andersen in audit and financial consulting services in France and in the United States. She then spent 12 years at GE Healthcare where she held various finance leadership positions in global and regional roles. Following that, she was the Group Controller at Tarkett, before joining Ipsen.

Abla graduated from ESSEC Business School in France.
