Shahrzad Amirani

Shahrzad has over 15 years of diverse experience across oncology, rare diseases, neurology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, immunology and inflammation.

Shahrzad Amirani serves as North America Vice President, Head of New Products & Innovation. Her current responsibilities include providing cross-functional leadership for assessing external opportunities, strategic direction for portfolio compounds, and guiding lifecycle planning for approved products.

Before Joining Ipsen Shahrzad served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Iridium Therapeutics, an early oncology venture, Sanofi’s VP & Product Innovation Head for Global General Medicines and Emerging Markets and Sanofi North America’s VP of New Product Planning, Launch Excellence, and Alliance Management. Shahrzad started her Pharma career in Pfizer Pharmaceutical in Global New Products.

She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Applied Statistics, and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Texas.
