Fostering a diverse, successful and healthy workforce
At Ipsen, we want our people to thrive. Our aim is to ensure that we create a passionate, healthy and diverse team that supports each other, as well as our partners and the communities we serve. We believe all employees should be treated fairly, and we work diligently to optimize the health, safety and well-being of our teams.

How we support our people and our communities
Ipsen has been recognized as an employer of choice in 25 countries in 2023. Here are just some examples of how we work to ensure our teams and our communities thrive.
Ipsen community days
In 2023, 43% of Ipsen employees participated in our Ipsen Community Day. This equates to more than 2,250 people taking part in over 100 activities to support the work of more than local 92 associations.Community Day is first and foremost a day of volunteering, where each employee can show their commitment to helping those in need, reinforcing Ipsen’s ambition and impact on communities.
Ipsen in Motion
Ipsen in Motion is our internal program promoting the health of all employees while raising money for worthwhile causes. In 2023, more than 1,000 people took part in 4 challenges raising over €40,000 for 5 NGOs (Patients, Environment). Since its creation in 2019, the Ipsen in Motion initiative has supported more than 27 local NGOs accross 25 geographies.
Donations to support communities
Motivated by our strategic commitment to society as a whole, we seek out opportunities to make an impact. In response to the Ukraine situation, Ipsen convened a crisis committee with two key objectives: ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining access to treatments for patients.
We have also responded to requests for humanitarian aid by donating medicines as well as a humanitarian contribution of €1.5 million in 2023 divided between the Tulipe association and the International Red Cross in France.
As Ipsen continues to closely follow the various humanitarian situations and expresses its solidarity with those affected, we have decided to support the emergency response to the earthquake in Mediterranean region by donating €50,000 to Tulipe in 2023. Diverse workforce in an inclusive organization
Ipsen is committed to promoting gender balance at all levels of our organization. In 2024, 46,2% of our Executive Leadership team and 57,2% of our Global Leadership team are women. A diverse mix of around 80 nationalities also enriches our organization and contributes to our global perspective.
