At Ipsen, our commitment to sustainability is brought to life through Generation Ipsen, our transformative sustainability strategy launched in 2022, signaling Ipsen’s commitment to positive change. Generation Ipsen is anchored by four pillars—Environment, Patients, People, and Governance—integrating purposeful actions aiming to drive positive action and leave a lasting impact for a better and healthier world.

David Loew

CEO

Generation Ipsen focuses on driving positive action across four pillars:

ENVIRONMENT

Caring for the planet

Climate change is the foremost challenge of our generation. Our environmental pillar has a strong focus on greenhouse gas / carbon reduction but also aims to minimize Ipsen’s impacts in other areas: leading on climate, preserving natural resources, and ecosystems, as well as enhancing product sustainability.

PATIENTS

Driving everything we do

Our focus on the fields of oncology, rare disease, and neuroscience allows us to address patients’ needs more effectively. Our patient pillar is dedicated to delivering a truly patient-focused experience, enabling access to good health, and driving innovation. This dedication aims to increase access, affordability, and quality, while also improving patient experiences.

PEOPLE

Making a real impact, every day

Our people pillar is dedicated to caring for our employees and communities. We believe in treating all employees fairly and, embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), we work diligently to optimize the health, safety, and well-being of our teams. We also nurture and reward all talent, ensuring every individual feels valued and supported.

GOVERNANCE

Acting with integrity and responsibility

Our sustainability is based on a strong ethical mindset. At all levels of the organization, and in all our operations, we are committed to acting with integrity and transparency. Our governance pillar is about ethical, responsible business practices and transparency.
