Phyllis Ioannou joined Ipsen Canada in 2020, bringing over 20 years of pharmaceutical sales and marketing experiencing to her role. She is responsible for developing and implementing the market access strategies for all marketed and pre-market products and has strategic oversight of Ipsen Canada’s patient support programs. Prior to this role, Phyllis was the Senior Director, Neuroscience and Rare Disease Business Unit for Ipsen, where she provided commercial and cross-functional strategic and operational leadership for the neuroscience and rare disease portfolio and was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the franchises.
Before joining Ipsen Canada, Phyllis held a number of roles with Elvium Life Sciences that included sales leadership, new product strategy and innovation, and strategic portfolio life cycle management. Previously, she held progressive roles at Allergan Canada in the fields of ophthalmology and neuroscience, including 10 years of sales and marketing leadership roles in the neurotoxin space. She additionally was a founding member of the ZS Associates Toronto office, where she consulted in areas of sales force sizing and optimization, sales force effectiveness, and go-to-market strategy.
Phyllis holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Managerial Law from Concordia University, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
